Becoming a Member
The Moretonhampstead Community Film Club was set up to offer varied, interesting and entertaining programming, bringing world cinema, classics and the very best new releases to Moretonhampstead, as well as short films, documentaries, animations and archive footage with the aim of presenting diverse films providing residents within and around the town somewhere accessible to enjoy film without the difficulties of getting to a city cinema. If you miss a film you may borrow the DVD for £1. The club was set up as part of Green Hill Arts Arts Council funded 'Inspiring our Community with Art' project and also received funding from the Moretonhampstead Parish Council. The club is run by a volunteer committee on a not-for-profit basis. Members have the opportunity to choose films themselves. The Film Club is held at Green Hill.

Events & Discussions
Alongside our film programme we hold occasional talks by film experts. Our last talk was a fascinating evening with Brian Froud about his involvement in the making of Labrynth with David Bowie. His talk was captivating and full of behind-the-scene snippets. Look out for our next talk.
As part of our club we are scheduling one-off discussion evenings centred around some of our films. These will be fund-raisers and include a talk and refreshments promising to be interesting and entertaining. We will keep you posted about our next evening event.
